Welcome to Women That Pray — a sisterhood of women going deeper with God through prayer and fasting. Founded and led by Risse Dionne, this community exists for one reason: to help women build a real, everyday relationship with God — and to lift each other up along the way.
As a wife and mother of three, Risse knows faith isn't just lived on a stage. It's lived at the kitchen table, in the car line, and in the quiet moments before the house wakes up. Her heart is to make room for women to be honest, be healed, and be strengthened through the power of prayer.
Risse is licensed in ministry as an evangelist in the Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Michael E. Hill, Sr. — General Board Member of the Church of God in Christ, Inc., and pastor of Kingdom International C.O.G.I.C. and Greater Love Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. She is also covered through the City Harvest Network under Dr. Rod Parsley of World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio, and holds a certification from the Potter's House School of Ministry in Dallas, Texas, under Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Whether through public speaking, Women That Pray gatherings, or ministry engagements, her assignment is simple: preach the gospel, love God's people, and help believers and unbelievers alike encounter the God who answers prayer.
